Several students are under investigation for reportedly selling naked pictures of female students at school. But students told CBS 13 the incident involved pictures of nude girls at the school being shared, and even sold, to other students at school. But students told CBS 13 members of the freshman and sophomore football teams were involved. Howaniec said she was completely shocked to learn that male students were selling nude and partially nude photos of female students at the high school. Technology in the schools is not necessarily a good thing. And I think this is an example of what can happen. But students say hundreds of dollars were made off these nude pictures. And even though the students who did this are minors, the student we spoke with believes whoever sold those pictures broke the law. He says Exeter middle and high school students are warned to be careful about what they post on social media. And he says once an image is out there, it can come back to haunt students down the road when they apply for college or a job.

WFIE - Police have found and arrested a man who they say had several photos of nude children, some as young as three or four. Henderson Police say they were called to the Second Street Walgreens back in February because a customer had been printing off the photos. They say several of the photos showed the naked body of a girl who appeared to be about seven or eight. Detectives say they contacted year-old Christopher Davis, who came to the station for an interview. Richard M. Teitelman Middle School in Lower Township. Authorities have charged 19 juveniles and an adult following a sexting investigation at that school and Lower Cape May Regional High High School. On April 23, a female student told school officials that nude pictures of her friend were being sent via social media and text, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Robert Taylor. During the course of an investigation, officials seized 27 cell phones and discovered that "numerous" photos of nude and partially nude girls had been circulated. Law enforcement say they're investigating a lot of cases of nude photos being used for blackmail or other forms of control. But Gearman says it is something every parent needs to be aware of, perhaps even earlier than many people might think. Hegg says he constantly sees young students dealing with issues that involve sexting. Hegg says teens are particularly susceptible to this kind of lapse in judgement. But Captain Gearman says teens are not the only people sending and using nude pictures for control. Hegg says parents should outline their rights in a contract with their teen before they ever start using a cellphone. Hegg says that contract should also spell out the consequences if a parent does find that their child is using their cellphone inappropriately.
